When I'm not writing for Final Girl or doing noble things for The Children, I enjoy engaging in various hobbies, such as pointing out old people on the street or painting. The former is something we must do together live and in person, but as to the latter, well, I can show you the fruits of my labors right here and now! WOW CAN YOU FEEL THE EXCITEMENT? Here's some paintings I done did- all are acrylics on 12" x 12" canvas. For you trivia nuts out there, '12" x 12" ' is also known as a "square".
That dingy yellow-looking color is actually white...it's Monday and I'm far too lazy to tweak these photos in PhotoShop. Anyway, I think Christopher Lee is my favorite.In other WOW CAN YOU FEEL THE EXCITEMENT? news...

I would easily pay $100 and a freshly baked cherry pie for the Frankenstein. That's not me putting a true value on your art -- it's literally my limit for spending on any one object.

1) Sure, these are totally for sale. For how much, I have no clue. :D I can do commissions also...if you're thinking "I'd love a painting of my Great Aunt Doris in that style, but orange and white!", well, it can be done. Anyone who's interested can toss an email my way!
2) Bride of Frankenstein...YES! Why didn't I think of that? Elsa Lanchester all big-haired-n-bug-eyed is one of my favorite horror images ever.

Well, I have no display space, I'm afraid, so money issues aside I couldn't commission anything... but if I did, what I would definitely go for Rudolf Klein-Rogge as he was in Testament of Dr. Mabuse, staring at the camera. (Though, come to think of it, Klein-Rogge's role in Metropolis is even better-known and suitably horrific...)

Those are great! Since my geek genes have been active for a few years loner than my horror genes I'd say I'm partial to the Storm Trooper myself, but don't tell the paintings that. I don't want them getting all jealous.
I was trying to think of some iconic someone with a moustache off the top of my head to suggest but I've failed epically. The only one coming to mind is the guy from "Prince of Darkness"
I myself can't paint. Last time I tried it went horribly wrong, I think there was a fire somehow....

Honestly, the thought of taking over an entire wall of my apartment with these paintings makes my heart flutter. I'd never move again, I'd just sit there and stare lovingly upon them until I ate myself from the inside out.
