FINAL GIRL explores the slasher flicks of the '70s and '80s...and all the other horror movies I feel like talking about, too. This is life on the EDGE, so beware yon spoilers!
Ack! The stuff of nightmares. Have you see Inland Empire, Stacie? There's a lot of tedium to wade through for certain but there are images and moments of real terror within. Lynch can craft a scare like nobody's business and doesn't get enough attention for that fact.
when i first saw this in the theater i nearly crapped myself. probably the last time i was really frightened in a movie.
as for inland empire. there's some creepiness (i.e. - the scene where the bunny creature is sitting at the head of the table in the darkly lit room adjoining the sitcom room), but nothing like this scene.

That woman (yes, that's a woman) is also in I Know Who Killed Me as the manager of the strip club Lindsay Lohan works at. Trufax.
This is the girl.
When will we get a final girl review of md?
Not sure if I will! There are a lot of movies I haven't yet reviewed that I probably "should."
