...of Ghostella's Haunted Tomb, then perhaps you'll enjoy this new trailer for Deadly Dress 4: Never A Bride. Surely you recognize the title from my list of 50 Horror Films I'd Like to See. Surely you'll recognize some familiar faces: there are Ghostella alums Heidi Martinuzzi, Elissa Dowling, and Bridget McManus; there's Bobbi Sue Luther of Laid To Rest; there's Shannon Lark of Ludlow; and there's Lena Headey of...well, enough stuff to make you wonder what she's doing in the trailer for Deadly Dress 4: Never A Bride.
If you like what you see, head over to Funny or Die and vote 'funny'. Frankly, I'm no longer sure if it's actually funny or not, but if it's not...I swear I can do better! Just please don't make me DIE because of it. I mean...it DOES feature a crazy townsperson, without which no horror movie is complete!
Also, you know, if there's enough public interest I'll TOTALLY make the prequel film, The Whiskeytown Dress Murders. Which...is something.

Heidi Martinuzzi sure is scary in that pink dress. I also loved the giant wedding dress and the animal attacks.
ReplyDeleteBest crazy townsperson EVER!
ReplyDeleteI think it's all kinds of awesome. Those pig noises were really disturbing...
ReplyDeleteDance... little piggy... dance...
ReplyDeleteFreaking hilarious!
Girls, you are the best!!!! One of the funniest videos I've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteHobo Heidi is teh hottt. : ) I love how she does a vampire-warding cross with her finger and the miniature bottle, then takes a swig, dress be damned.
ReplyDeleteAnd if "Dance, little piggy, dance!" isn't the catchphrase of the 21st century, I don't know what is.
Also: car-wreck: awesome.
I'm hoping that "Keep on dancin', piggy!" will become the modern equivalent of "Hang in there, kitty!"
ReplyDeleteHeidi and Karman steal the show. My eyes are bleeding from watching this trailer so much.
ReplyDeleteCongrats again rockstar!
Bridget
Wonderful! Where's Madchen Amick? I think she wore that dress's cousin in "I'm Dangerous Tonight". And it was so cool to see Ocular again. I so loved those Mad Balls back in the day.

Wow. Hilarious, random, a little creepy...I so wish this was a real movie I could go see. I don't know how you get so many talented people together to do this - they were all so great.
ReplyDeleteYeah, where IS Madchen Amick?
ReplyDeleteThanks, guys!!
Diana, I have no idea how I get these people to work with me, either! I just hope they keep wanting to. :)
my highlights...
ReplyDeleteLena Headey's extremely good bad over acting when approaching the killer dress in her car that then rolled down that massive cliffy hill thing, just spectacular! How did you have the budget for that stunt??
And the dress swallowing/engulfing (i couldn't decide which word best described it) the crazed drunkard on the street.
"She was bleeding...I think it was blood!"
ReplyDeleteThis trailer is hilarious. I would like the prequel to be made!
