FINAL GIRL explores the slasher flicks of the '70s and '80s...and all the other horror movies I feel like talking about, too. This is life on the EDGE, so beware yon spoilers!
I haven't had a chance to read your review yet, but YES, YES YES YES YES!!!
Shaun of the Dead has to be my favorite movie, and I mean favorite movie EVAH!
I think why it works so much is that it is a story about the people. Shaun, the lackluster boyfriend, his mooching best friend, the shitty job . . man oh man . . I mean, I cry during some of the scenes . . . it's all so touching.
I must say, this film is responsible for me teaching my children the Zombie walk and moan.

It's not hip-hop, it's electro.
I sooo need to see this again.
A perfect comedy, and a pitch perfect satire too.
"I'm really sorry . . . .
No, I'm really sorry."

"AWWW . . .COME ON!!"
I recently discovered that Shaun of the Dead is a deal-breaker... someone I thought I liked stated that they thought Zombieland was a better zomedy.
WTFF?
Or maybe I was just looking for the deal-breaker. But still...
Wise decision Mr. Blamer . .
wise indeed.
"You've got red on you."
