FINAL GIRL explores the slasher flicks of the '70s and '80s...and all the other horror movies I feel like talking about, too. This is life on the EDGE, so beware yon spoilers!
That's not one of the iconic shots from this film, but it's a perfect one nonetheless. I love the way Lynch encodes so much dread and mystery into shots like this, where characters stare into blackness, wondering what's lurking around the corner or within the shadows.
Hi there. There a roubd robin/meme/award/stalker award thing a friend of mind nominated me for because he - unaccountably - likes my blog. Well, I love yours so to pay it forward I nominated yours. It's called the Kreativ Blogger Award. On the down side there's no prize. On the up side it doesn't appear to be one of those "forward this to 50 people or your cat will explode" things. Just to say thanks for a great blog.

Such an amazing film. Left quite an effect on me.
Thanks so much, Mike! That's really nice of you...especially considering my cat won't explode as a result!
