dance to the death
Another week, another list. Over at AMC I lay out my 10 favorite horror movie dance scenes. I'm sure yours are the same, because I know everything. Right?

Honestly, what the hell were the writers/producers/directors thinking when they created the monstrosity that is the Night Train to Terror theme song?
(I'd really like to know...)
Ugh, that movie is SO BAD.
And yet, I'm suddenly filled with a burning desire to see it again...must...stop...self....
Was that thing that Sybil Danning did during the credits of Howling II considered a dance? Because Daddy like!
Well, I think I look pretty hot.
Why didn't anybody in Return of the Living Dead tell Trash her breasts were stupendous?
Good point, Arbo. I mean...look at them.
I wonder why, in movies, people never laugh at each others' jokes. Would it pull the audience out of the movie's world...or draw them in deeper?
Oooh, that sounded dramatic.
Ooooh, oooh, I know this one!
People in movies (or on stage, which is where I learned this) don't laugh at other character's jokes because if they do, the audience WON'T.
This, like all rules of comedy, isn't an absolute- but it's generally considered true. At most, the characters will give an appreciative chuckle.
This, of course, is different than having a laight-track, since it's a rule that audiences tend to laugh when other people think a show is funny.
But I could be wrong.

What am awesome idea for a list! I get really jealous of how horrifically (haHA) clever you are.
Congrats! I awarded this blog a Kreativ Award. Check it out! Keep up the great work!

I'm really glad you mentioned Night of the Demons, but what about the dancing corpse in Evil Dead 2?
