Hey dudes, dudettes, and "prefer not to answer"s- The Scare-ening is nigh! That's right, your favorite internet radio extravaganza (I assume! Don't tell me any differently.) is on at 8pm PDT with your hosts Heidi Martinuzzi and me. Our guest? Yes, we will be having a guest with whom to talk, and that guest is none other than Shannon Lark. We'll be talking about the Viscera Film Festival (which was effing awesome, by the way), Ludlow, and some other stuff. You know, women stuff, like coupons and International Coffees. So tune in, or be a jerk!
If you have a question for Shannon or any of us and you're too lazy to call, you can leave it in the comments and we'll totally* answer it on air.
Also, did you know that The Scare-ening is available on iTunes? It is, so if that's your bag, baby, go for it.

Saaay! Are those the actual festival award statuettes, because ADORABLE! Instead of the "Palme d'or", you guys can have the "Embalm d'GORE".
Glad to hear Viscera was fun. Did you get a kiss from Amber Benson? I've never been to a film festival, but I like to imagine they have rows and rows of kissing booths set up...
Why is their no director's credit for Stacie on the IMDB entry for Lip Stick?
What was really up with Heidi's no show (on the Scare-ening) last week?
Will there ever be an anthology movie with Ghostella as MC?
What do Shannon & Heidi think of House on Haunted Hill (1999)?
Whose leg is featured in the Viscera poster and does she have a matching one?
Will Ludlow be in 3D when it is released theatrically?
I've enjoyed horror movies for a pretty long time, but only in the past few years have I become a really big fan.
Despite the fact that Hollywood is all about remakes now (most of which are not good), there have been a lot of really good horror movies that have come out in the 2000s, often foreign and/or independent (The Descent, Let the Right One In, House of the Devil, Dog Soldiers, Inside, Martyrs, Antichrist, REC, REC 2: Possession Boogaloo: The Heretic, etc.).
It may be the fact that I am somewhat of a horror naïf, I think that the past few years have been the best time for horror movies since the period from 1968 up until say 1982 or so. Do you agree or disagree? Any thoughts?
How great are Elvira's boobs in real life?
Okay now the serious question.
Stacie, what was the most memorable moment of the film festival?
Will the Viscera movies be available on DVD?
...oh, and please don't mock me for using "their" where I should have used "there". If you want a valid reason to mock me: I quite liked the film Tamara (2005).
I keep waking up on Thursday and punching myself in the face for missing these. I just can't seem to make it to 11PM on Wednesdays (damn you California girls and your Rodeo Drive party til 8PM your time attitudes). Gr!
Dang it, I missed it!
Those Viscera Awards are wicked cool looking!I'd put it right next to my Rondo Award, that is, if I actually HAD a Rondo Award :-(
Sigh, one day, zombie girl...one day...
