Now, I couldn't put up a poster from every movie listed during SHOCKtober thus far. The scroll wheel on your mouse would surely catch fire trying to get to them all, and also I would lose my mind. Here's a random selection of awesome awesomeness!
Also, I think we can all agree that Marilyn Monroe-flavored popcorn is the best popcorn, yes? Tastes like sad!

I love the poster for “The Other”! What a great tag line. Oh, the nightmares that movie gave me…
A friend of mine gave me a copy of THE OTHER that I haven't watched yet.
Can anyone here vouch for it? Is it good?
I'm sure whoever voted for it can vouch for it! :D But really, I've only heard good things about it and I want to check it out myself.
I dug the Testatment of Doctor Mabuse. That's a great movie.
Ok, mostly all obvious stuff here. I'll not belabor those.
However, it's possible the text on the Swedish version of The Blood on Satan's Claw is the greatest explotiation ad in the history of ever*.
It says:
The Devil was their lord!
Ritual murder and rape paralyzed the whole county!
THE DEVIL'S BLOODY CLAW
A sexually charged bloody thriller!
Top that, Corman.
The second Swedish one just repeats the last line and adds the nekkid chick for emphasis. In case you didn't get it.
The German one says:
England's best-selling historical novel is now a major, sensational color film! IN THE CLAWS OF THE WITCH HUNTER.
See, not in the same league.
Mabuse is one of my all-time favorites. Thanks, Stace, for the awesome pics.
The Italian Warhol poster is actually a wheezy joke recycled:
Dracula seeks the blood of virgins and…dies of thirst!
The French title for Fade to Black is, weirdly, Black Fondue.
Nah, I'm just kidding. It's a literal translation.
Spanish Witchfinder General is When the Witches Burn, and the Danish one reads…man, Stacie, you are just on a sleazy Scandinavian imagery run this week:
VINCENT PRICE is a symbol of the world's evil as WITCH HUNTER.
This color film surpasses all in tension and horror!
BANNED IN MOST COUNTRIES!
Witchhunters' victims could not withstand the diabolical torture, and were condemned to the flames.
So there you go. Great stuff, Stacie. Thanks, as ever.

The Italian 'Village of the Damned' poster looks more like the "Village of the Young Klaus Kinskis", which is scary in its own kind of way.
That's some cool artwork for Andy Warhol's Dracula, the one with Dracula tap dancing on top of an orgy with massive nails & stakes impaling him. Are all those characters really in the film? a live action Mad Monster Party, or did the artist exaggerate slightly. I guess I'll have to check it out for myself.
Nothing like ritual murder and rape to paralyze a whole country! Thanks, Bill. I always wonder what the taglines say and then you're always here in the comments to tell me!
̄Æ,
You are very welcome. That's why Stacie pays me the big bucks…
Wow. This is the NSFW edition also. ;)
What, the cartoon tits? Dude, Final Girl is generally NSFW. I label or link to things that are particularly NS, but GASP breasts could appear here at any time. Consider this an eternal NSFW warning. :)
I want to see a poster with the tagline "GASP breasts." Any language would be fine!
You know, I was going to punctuate that somehow, but then I figured...eh, it's Sunday. Screw it!
