I like Memories of Murder but I wouldn't have it down as horror, more like martial arts, what with the cop drop-kicking suspects left, right & centre!
I wonder if this means 'The Chaser' will be included at some point, another great Korean film that could possibly be classed as horror although I left it off my list.
Aw man, I'm gonna miss these one voters. Demonseed is, no doubt, every bit as good as I remember it.

Has anyone else noticed...?- Hardly any films from the 1980s have shown up in these one-vote chunks. That can only mean a lot of love for a lot of 80s horror.
The Master would not like Manos only getting one vote.
And come to think of it, for a movie about math, Pi IS really scary...

The vote for Nightmare Before Christmas makes me wonder if Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory got any votes.
Smogo - the advent of VHS and cable television in the 80s probably had something to do with it.
And I suspect (though I hesitate to speak definitively) that many of the folks who submitted lists were either born in or (like me) came of age during the 1980s. My own list boasts seven 80s titles (including two onesies mentioned earlier, C.H.U.D. and DEMON CITY SHINJUKU), as well as three late-70s titles I caught up with on cable or video.
Robson - partly an age thing, sure, but probably more because 80s horror was the awesomest.
Sadly the current BBC series A History of Horror with Mark Gatiss only goes up as far as Halloween, completely missing out on all the splattery 80s goodness.
I really loved "Fido" as well. The balance it struck between zombies, gore, and a great fifties satire was perfect. Carrie Ann-Moss and Dylan Baker are fifties-awesome, and how can you beat Billy Connolly as Fido? Ya just can't.
Billy Connolly and Carrie Ann Moss were in Fido?! OK now I'm intrigued. I have to see it!
Whoa, I totally forgot about Demonseed. If I had remembered, it would have been on my list.
