The Woman in Black opens today, and I'm pretty pumped about that. I'm a big fan of
the original, but even more it pleases me that a Hammer film is playing at the multiplex. Most horror fans- especially those
of an age- cite Hammer goodness as playing a huge role during their formative years, and I am no exception. Why, if the only film they'd ever released was
The Seven Brothers Meet Dracula, that would have been good enough for moi, but no! Hammer has done so much more. Too much, in fact, for one mere AMPF. See more Hammer posters
here,
here, and
here. Oh, and
here.
Why haven't I seen
The Nanny yet? What is wrong with me? (don't answer that)

I gotta say, I'm pretty giddy with anticipation for The Woman in Black.
Not...seen...The Nanny?
Haste thee to a copy immediately. It's the best of Hammer's psychological thrillers.
Some of the older posters really should be considered as art. I might have to start decorating my walls with old horror posters.
Classic Hammer posters are some of the best things EVER! I'd love to collect them, but then I'd have to collect walls too cause I"m out of wall space in my 'room you're allowed to display your nerdy crap' room. :(
I have the 2nd "The Woman in Black" poster at home, All hail Hammer!
