  1. I did like SAUNA a lot. Very creepy and atmospheric.

Nice to see it mentioned. It's one of those movies that could definitely fall through the cracks.

  2. 1. I keep meaning to see Pontypool but never have, darnit.

    2. Blood Simple is a fabulous movie, though I can't say that it scares me.

    3. To toot someone else's horn, DVD Savant is probably the biggest expert and most voluminous scribe when it comes to Night of the Demon/Curse of the Demon: http://www.dvdtalk.com/dvdsavant/s568demon.html

  3. PONTYPOOL is pretty terrific, although it collapses a bit toward the end under the weight of its own conceit. But it's a good ride.

As is SAUNA, which I need to watch again.

  4. Woohoo! 'Night of the Demon' - I cast the vote (and runes) for that one. A film so creepy it remains undiminished even in the face of the most laughably abysmal and underwhelming demon ever to issue forth from Hell. My mate keeps recommending 'Pontypool' to me so I will check it out -even though the name sounds like a Welsh seaside resort.
