FFS, you don't need to remind me, Netflix.

  1. I didn't actually add it to my list, just watched it on Netflix. Don't think they have reminded me of that yet. Learn from your mistakes!

  2. I think it's going to end up one of those "add but never watch" movies. (My List is way way waaaaaaay too big, sigh.) I have to admit I'm curious about it, but I don't know if I'm curious enough to ever press play!

  3. A few years ago I watched Downfall on Netflix streaming. On the basis of the one movie, Netflix decided that I must have overwhelming obsession with all things Nazi/Hitler related, and for weeks the "Recommendation for you" list was nothing but The Shocking Secrets of Hitler's Hairdresser! style documentaries.

  4. I'll watch pretty much every documentary in existence, so I get a LOT of Nazi recommendations. I worry when I'm gonna watch a movie with friends and they see what Netflix thinks of me, because it's usually along the lines of "Because you have terrible taste..." or "Because you apparently enjoy really weird shit..."

  6. Indeed it is! Might come back at some point, but I am currently taking a break because social media wears me out :D

  7. I understand. Hopefully this works out to more FG posts. Especially for Shocktober!

  9. I've been intending to watch all of the later installments of lesser horror franchises, and I just can't seem to do it. Leprechaun 3 and Hellraiser IV just finished me off. I don't think I can even try Child's Play 2.

I don't know why I want to do this in the first place.

    Help me.

  10. I think they kind of require a zen mindset. You have to go in expecting the absolute WORST movie in the history of cinema to have any kind of peace. Some of these movies are then "enjoyable" because they're as bad as you expect and you can laugh. Some are marginally better than the absolute worst so you don't want to kill yourself. Some, however, are beyond all reason and make you decide to never watch any movie ever again. Yay horror franchises!!
