if you only knew how long it took me to make this...
That's right, I'll be going through/watching/talking about every film in the Nightmare on Elm Street series–well, most of them. New Nightmare happened recently enough that I won't be revisiting it. But everything else? Sure! Well, maybe sure. I'm honestly still undecided about Freddy vs Jason because I hated it so much. But that was 73 years ago, so maybe my feelings have changed? We'll see. One cannot plan that far ahead when one lives a life as reckless as mine. But I swear, all the other films! There are some I haven't seen, even! Very exciting. I hope you'll be around–just don't. Fall. Asleep.
C'mon! New Nightmare is required after the shiteousness of the previous 2 films. Still, awesome idea. :D
ReplyDeleteIt would definitely be a good palate cleanser! That's the problem with mainlining these horror series...the crap is all at the end. At least I'm not doing an actual marathon this time, that should help preserve my sanity a bit.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, when I clicked on the site and was suddenly confronted with Freddie/briefcase lady, it kind of freaked me out.
I don't think I will ever stop laughing at that picture. I am going to laugh myself right into the grave!!!!
ReplyDeleteBack...in the saddle...again.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best lines ever, although I never got into the NOES series much. Good luck!
Oh God. You've got a stronger will than I do. I try to do what you're doing and routinely crap out after #3.
ReplyDeleteNot that #2 is so easy to sit through either, I might add. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI just re-watched III last week for the first time since high school. There's so much I didn't remember: like that Angelo Badalamenti did the music or that Lawrence Fishburne was a nurse.
ReplyDeleteSo looking forward to this. . .
@Nicholas - I'm cutting myself some slack this time with the "one a day" approach...I don't think I'd get through a marathon intact!
ReplyDeleteI nearly bought the box-set the other day, but wondered if it was worth it for three good movies.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for next week! YAAAAAAASSSSS Briefcase Lady! Get it, girl.
ReplyDeleteFreddy vs Jason is almost redeemed by one line
ReplyDelete"Dude that goalie was pissed about something."
Aw, Freddy vs Jason is awesome! It's funny and ties both properties in pretty well, I thought. I hope you change your mind and do it!
